Finally caught Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
haha, where shall i start? Basically, i thought this movie was quite good. Yea, but there were still lots of things i wish they had included.
What i really liked about the film:
1. Funny scenes.. there were lots.
2. The visuals is amazing. I was amazed by the visuals. really really good job.
3. The young Voldemort scene was creepy. that young boy played young Voldemort very well. you got this creepy feeling.
4. Cormac Mclaggen! Hotness! omg. He kinda reminds me of Lucas Till. hahaha.
5. It was a pleasure to watch Draco Malfoy. Tom Felton really did a good job of playing the "chosen one" for the dark side.
6. Alan Rickman. He does justice to Severus Snape.
7. The Cave scene.. the ring of fire..
8. The starting when the bridge collapsed.
9. The whole mood of it. The dark feeling.
10. The Qudditch match
What i wished they would have included or improved on:
1. Dumbledore's funeral! He was a wise wizard who contributed alot to Hogwarts, to the magical community. Where's that white tomb? Where's the whole crowd coming down to pay him respect? They should show him with holding the wand before closing the tomb. but sadly, they didn't include the funeral.
2. The starting. What's the point of having Harry at the train station with this girl flirting with him? -.- Harry is with the Dursley. I really hope they would include the whole dursley in the 7th movie. when Harry bade farewell to them.
3. More Horcrux scenes. All these pensieve stuff are very important in the 7th book.
4. Less on Lavender Brown and Ron. I rather have more horcrux scenes. Ron and Hermione kinda admit they like each other? Esp the scene in the hospital wing. Lavender being so crazy when Snape, Mcgonagall and dumbledore in the very same room???
5. The Harry and Ginny thing was so awkward. haha. Ginny was taller than Harry. Ginny didn't even break up with Dean Thomas? There wasn't even a relationship between them? oh gosh. and the kiss should have been longer. Harry and Ginny's kiss was actually shorter than Cho and Harry's one. -.-
6. The Big Battle of Hogwarts. This is the biggest crime. Where's the order of phoenix fighting the death eaters? Dumbledore died. They should fight those death eaters. there wasn't any horror or panick in the end. the whole of hogwarts should be like in horror or fighting that kinda thing. without it, this scene is kinda anti-climatic.
Other than this, i was reasonably satisfied with this film. Most of my friends say it suck, but i think it was quite okay la. 7.5/10 =)

Dear diary,
hahaha. havent blogged in about ten thousand years. so, now let me blog about my this week in school.
tuesday- nothing much happen. haha. monday and tuesday have the most boring lessons ever. boring boring boring. coz mostly is ieb, acct, fom. had wcd for first period. finally can do the window.prompt, window.confirm, window.alert stuff. haha. i need to start studying about javascript or look for experts. IT is quite difficult to understand, but once u get it.. whoa la.. u feel the enlightenment. Zack and Chi passed me their logo and banner design for the DMIT LAN Gaming competition. Then i passed to Bruce. Chi did a really good job. She actually drew out the DOTA characters and they look like computer print out one. She's gt a good talent in drawing. haha. Then when bruce asked zack how much cca points he want, zack replied, " i did this to help my friend, not coz of cca points". my expression : O_O. surprised. lol. coz i am not that close to him and initially i thought he won't do the logo, but he really put in lots of effort. whoa. hahah
wednesday - got back CRS test. expected myself to get like C and below coz teacher that time say our grades until like so lousy, plus i don't write a lot of argumentative essays. the night before the test, i'm too lazy to practise writing it out. but i gt A. yay! so, i'm happy happy. hahaha. The rest of the class went off to Clementi for lunch. My ieb grp stayed behind coz na and I have to leave early. going to Clementi to eat will cut down even more time that we had. met Serene and Yanling at tpy library. haha. lots of sarcastic jokes among me and yl again. and she praised me okay! singapore gonna have huge thunderstorm le. Ms Phoon Yan Ling actually said , " Jasmine, i suddenly feel that you're very lihai". hahaha, coz i helped her with her powerpoint slides.nearly left my fuji on the library table. lucky i suddenly remember. phew. Had dinner and bought my "quaver notes" metal studs. Havent been wearing studs for months, scared later cannot wear earrings already.went home, lie in bed and read accounting books and examples until i fell asleep till the next morning.
thursday - Mrs Wong told me to present to whole class how i did my photoshop and got sweets for reward. hahaha. Shuyi and Mabel started mugging hardcore for accounting. Zi and me started to gan chiong also. Studied Acct whenever we can. during lunch, during fom lecture, before wcd lesson. hahaha. some of the P and L past year papers quite tricky. u have to take those adjustments into account too, or else you can never get the right answer. must read properly. wcd lesson was HORRIBLY CONFUSING. programming also got this thing called modulus. So when Kim asked, do you know what's modulus? we were like.. oo. we know. A Maths! real value! negative numbers become positive. then kim laughed and said, are we on the same string?? haha. modulus in programming is like that

if you get a remainder, you type in 1. if not, you type in 0. so weirds right?? Because the whole While and For functions are so confusing. mainly the guys get it. the girls are swimming in an ocean of confusing, hua swee and Kim came over to explain to us. haha. reminds me of how i asked Mdm Ong to explain three times on those sin, cos, tan graphs. mabel and I are the same. we feel like we can understand when they are explaining. when they are gone, confusion sinks in again. hahaha.then after school, which is after 6pm, the 7 of us ( na went home first) stayed back to study accounting. Studying with them can be a bit distracting. lol. with Zi on my right pinching me or mabel sneezing into my dinner and yi said " bless you, jasmine" or constantly asking each other questions. but i got revised quite a bit in the end. hahaha. went home and revised some more.
friday- after school, we had a 5 hr break before accounting test. so we studied and studied in those "Our Hangout" classrooms where the classrooms are vacant. Got distracted by ShuYi's skates and went to skate at the back of the classroom. haha. i can skate for a bit. lol. fell down only once, on my butt, so it's not that bad. then 5.20 pm came. i seriously think they should extend the time lor. 1 hr where got enough. i was so careless can. i go and add expenses to revenue, when i should minus it to get my net profit. then when i got 200 k difference in my balance sheet, i completely freaked out. skipped that pand l and balance sheet question and do the adjustments question quickly. then when there is only left 15 mins, i tried to look for my careless mistakes. heng ar. can balance. that question 32 marks lehs. whole paper is liek 50 marks. wah. scary hell. took the train home with zi, chi, salty, peter and victor. zi and peter alighted at outram park. chi and salty went to Ion@ orchard. so when they left, me and victor talked and talked until i alighted at Braddell. He lived in Bishan. then went home and totally slack. accounts make me so stressed. -.- last minute study always does. hahaha.
I think HS and R had a quarrel or something. HS started to follow the girls during lunch, during revision. lol. then when he asked us about wad we think of R, all of us say things like " cold, distant." haha. i don't really like R. he's like giving you the cold cold feeling. you wave hi or bye, he won't even look at you. a bit rude i know. and HS says ever since R gt liek full marks for the last accounts test, he got a bit arrogant liao. even Victor says so. haha.
anyway, i woke up today and has been surfing the net ever since. MZ is still in " isolation state" because her promos is in 9 weeks' time. wah. i can imagine the stress.
PS: Avril Lavigne's new album is coming out on Nov 17! This time, it will be more acoustic, much like those of her first two albums.This is good news to me coz i don't really like the bubblegummish, pop, pink Avril songs in best damn thing.

The basic requirements for applicants are:
A polytechnic diploma from Nanyang Poly, Ngee Ann Poly, Singapore Poly, Republic Poly and Temasek Poly.
An acceptable foundation in mathematics (at least a C6 grade in Additional Mathematics at GCE O-Level or equivalent)
SAT 1 : Reasoning Test is optional (but an added advantage for those with strong scores; guideline for strong SAT I scores: > 1300 for old SAT format and > 1900 for new SAT format).
However, Applicants for Bachelor of Laws must take the SAT I Reasoning Test and achieve the following requirement:
- Old SAT Format: A minimum score of 700 for the verbal component
- New SAT Format: A minimum combined score of 1400 for both Critical Reading and Writing Components
Interview for all shortlisted applicants
omgosh. SMU seems very very difficult to get in. -.- still need to take wad SAT test and go for interview. alamak.
