Flowers In The Attic, Virginia Andrews
5:14 PM
Boy, am i glad to say that i've finally finished my physics homework, after procrastinating for two days. haha. I've been taking a very long time to read Pride and prejudice, so i decided to read Flowers In The Attic. its kinda sad story and dark. I find it hard to tear my eyes away from the book just to complete my physics worksheet. hehes. The homework i have to complete now are:
- English Vocabulary building unit 1-10 ( this is sick!)
- complete the whole of the Chinese assessment ( this is even sicker)
- find the stress syllable in the word game from RD
- Prepare for EL show and tell
- Complete the English Worksheet
- Read twilight so that i can complete the worksheet above.
- Read the boring old Chinese book which i'm very sure i will fall asleep the second i read the first line. =.= .
I don't like reading Chinese novel, there's so many words that i cannot understand. I like English novels, well, i guess the studying of lower secondary's literature gave me a thirst to carry on reading more and more books. hahas. I missed studying literature. I loved the way some authors played around with the words to make their own writing style unique, like Jane Austen, Luanne Rice, Virginia Andrews in particular. Maybe someday, when i'm bored out of my mind, i will try to learn their way of writing. Strangely enough, i loved to read but hate to write when there's this saying " people who love to read will love to write", I guess i am the exception to this rule. =.= . Anyway, i just found an interesting website that features the top 100 UL's best loved books. There's so many books i still have not discovered. For now, i desperately want a holiday when there's no school LSP, homeworks, projects and CCA. I want a hell lot of time to read and read. The more i type, the more geekier i get. haha. The list below is the top 100 best loved UK's books, as of 2003. I know its been four years, but good books can withstand decades or even centuries, Jane Austen's Pride And Prejudice is a perfect example. =)
( Those titles which i have slashed is those books i've finished reading or read at least the abridged version of it)

Hi guys. I'm feeling really great. haha. Just like what i've expected yesterday. hahas. Firstly, i woke up a 6.30 am, to prepare myself for school u noe? I spent like 20 mins on my hair. I know u are laughing at me right now. But i'm trying to look good ma. hehe, for that someone. Anyway, it turns out that "electric sparks" still form on my hair. I can't help it, someone too charming, too much voltage to contain inside me that my hair just stand, like undergoing electricity throughout. haha. I have a good time at the lesson. Perhaps the most interesting science lesson in my whole secondary school life? The teacher is so funnie. His "crash" = "crush". . "heaven and earth green tea" becomes "green and earth green tea" . LOLs. I also never knew that he's afraid of scuba diving, he only dare to snorkel. hehs. then he keep on asking zhen wei and jun yang to switch on and off the lights. Actually, Kelly was supposed to on and off the lights de, but to him, it seems not nice for a girl to do such stuff. Your typical 21st century gentleman. haha. I learnt so much more in his lesson than i can ever learn in mr wong lessons. his lessons are fun while mr wong's are dead boring. Speaking on that note, ihave to go back to school on tuesday to attend physics lesson by mr wong. =(( why can't we have combined lesson with e5? it will be so much fun. I guess, we cannt have everything in life. However, i'm hoping for a change in physics teachers for semester 2, i hope he can be my class physics teacher, it will be so so so fun.
After that, XY and I went to have lunch first. we ate chicken rice. Super nice. Our next stop is to buy tickets to spiderman show. i love spiderman <33.>Whatever comes our way, whatever battle we have raging inside us, we always have a choice..... It's the choices that make us who we are, and we can always choose to do what's right. "

hey guys. i know i sounded too emo in the last few posts but this post will be very different from them. Why? My MSN name will tell you the answer.
{ JASMINE } [4 REASONS TO SMILE TODAY]yea. haha. First reason, I'M GONNA WATCH SPIDEY 3 TMR. I KNOW PLENTY OF PPL HAVE WATCHED IT BUT SPIDER-MAN IS SO COOL, SO AWESOME. ^^.
Next reason, I bet XY and some others will know the answer for this one. I'm attending physics lesson tmr. I know it sound very boring but u have to read between the lines to understand what i'm trying to say XD.
Third reason, hohoho, YanLing went to cut her hair until cannt tie. * tryin hard to control laughter* How will it look like, i wonder? LOL. ok, i'm seriously being very evil here. sorry.
The final reason, on a particular site on the internet, someone replied this to me. "... Well, I'm very happy to know that your attitude towards studies is so positive. =) Excellent! . " Wow, He said EXCELLENT. XDXDXDXDXDXD. The last thing which i ever heard ,that has left a deep imprint in my mind was "fantastic" OH MY GOODNESS! yea, i know being excellent is not as good as saying something is fantastic but it is just as meaningful. especially when said by someone u find worthy of deep respect. hehes. heres more: " Sec 3 life is not so easy, I must agree. But it's also not that tough. Once you get into the momentum, you will find yourself coping with much ease. Do give yourself a break though." Inspiring? yes, it definitely is to me! A good analogy for Newton's first law of motion X ) [ Every object will remain in its state of motion in a straight line unless a resultant force acts on it to change its state of motion ] ^^.WEEE. I SO HAPPY. I'M OVER THE MOON. nono, correction!
I'm OVER THE UNIVERSE! haha, i'm not trying to curse myself to die faster, since after i die, i will still be on earth, with my ashes buried deep in the soil. *touch wood* wadeva. ahaha. i'm so happy.
Oh yea, u want to hear one joke? LOL. This joke comes from my physics worksheet. haha. There's one particular question that goes like this, " he now throws the box filled with sand. Describe what an external observer will observe of the astronaut and the box. Explain. " LOL. I really cannot find any scientific reasoning for it. Like a crapper who need to crap a lot during a day, I desperately wanted to write " The astronaut is suffering from some unknown form of mental illness that is so fatal that he wanted to throw a dumb box for no reason in space. He can be classified as a really MAD scientist. This also shows that he does not study geography at all. Throwing rubbish in space is just as atrocious as throwing litter on the streets on Earth. The box, in the meantime will seem like a big asteroid that is going to hit the Earth( if it were to be dumped in the direction of the Earth). However, instead of asteroid, there will be a rain of sand. I suggest everyone on earth to wear glasses in case of any sand getting into their eyes. The doctors that specialize in eye-treatments will also earn big bucks. Maybe they are the accomplice of the seriously mad scientist"
LOL. haha. i cannt stop laughing . My stomach hurts from laughing so much and tears are flowing . Argh, i gotta stop blogging. I need to find treatment for people who cannot stop laughing. ahahahaha.

I have so many choices. So why should i just choose you, when there are much more fishes in the sea? i think i have to bluff to myself that i don't have any feelings for you. i have to live under the delusion that you are just a mere little frog who is so
digusting. This will make my life easier to live with, so that i won't love you anymore.
But why must you be so perfect that i find it such a difficult task to find any flaws in you? It's easier to be said than done. i can't bluff myself that you are one pathetic weakling, but i have to, in order to save my fragile heart from any more pains.

honestly, i think the only thing that differentiate humans from robots is that robots are made of metals and we are not.
from yahoo answers:
To be given life is the ultimate gift. When we are first born we have the right to cry or laugh. When we grow up we have the freedom to choose the way we want to be. Humans were born with rights equal to every other living thing but because of our unlimited desire human life is often of less quality than most other animals.
A small bird wakes up early in the morning singing a song waking the other birds, merrily looking for food, spending a short time to get all the bugs and grain she needs to fill her small stomach, then spending the rest of her time playing, singing, and courting. She spends a few days to build her beautiful nest. She doesn?t work too much to get the food she needs everyday. Her life is easy. She has a lot of time to play and enjoy living together with the other birds.
Humans have small stomachs as birds do. Just to have enough to eat we too do not have to work a lot in one day. If we want to build a house, we can build one in a few weeks. We can then have a lot of free-time in our life to play and enjoy life together as well. Now days people choose to work very hard, at least 8 hours per day. They work like machines just to have some food to eat even though the food they eat is not good quality. They eat the old plants and animals that have been dead many months in a can or in frozen packages. They have to live in a crowded house like a termite. If they want their own house they have to spend at least one half of their life or maybe all of their life to work for that house. Life is busy and hectic all the time.
We can see only complications with no space for beauty and freedom. We create suffering for ourselves because we don?t know the purpose of life. We are blinded and our soul turns to darkness. We can?t see beauty. We can?t enjoy living. We have only fear growing in our minds everyday. We begin to distrust other people. We cannot be friends with others around us, even relatives or family members. Our lives are lonely, even though the world is full of people. Even though we have a lot of material goods and wealth we still feel like it?s not enough. Even thought other people give us love, we still don?t trust them. We are even disturbed by the rooster?s morning call and we?re proud to say in the middle of this confusion and suffering that this is development and we are civilized.
Why do humans choose to live their life in a difficult and complicated life like this? What do we receive from our hard work all our life? Why is the simple and peaceful way not attractive to people? Life is easy, why do we make it hard?
If we think we are the most clever animal in the world, why do we make our life full of bitterness and suffering more than any other animal? Why do we have to work harder than other animals? Why do we make our lives so boring? Why don?t we have time for our kids and family or even time for ourselves? These are the instincts of all life. In 24 hours we spend more than 10 hours struggling with what we call work or said nicely, ?making a living?. We spend on average less than 8 hours sleeping and 2.5 hours a day eating, maybe .5-1 hour bathing/dressing. This leaves 3 hours left for ourselves and our family in our day. Mostly we spend this time intoxicating ourselves with entertainment such as drinking, going to parties, shopping, watching movies or watching TV. Even on our day off we love to spend the time on entertainment. We don?t see the importance of spending time with family or ourselves because we think we don?t have time. So we are not different from machines or robots because we have lost our heart and soul.
Our kids are like our pets. We take care of them enough to feed them and keep them safe but we neglect to think about their mind and soul. Kids want to be loved and cared for and to feel close to their parents but we think it?s a burden so we push them away by sending them to pre-school. Then we appease ourselves by telling ourselves we?ve done the best by them by giving them good food and expensive schooling so we can have more time to give to working and we can tell ourselves that we work for our kids. But we don?t know if the kids want what we give them or not. We assume we have given the best to them. If the kids know how to compare, they must be jealous of other animals like ducks seeing their whole family playing and looking for food together. But to be born as a human kid is so lonely. They become orphaned even though they have parents. They spend more time with strangers than their parents.
We are losing our instincts. We are destroying the system of life which our ancestors developed and lived successfully with for many thousands of years. Now we become the only animals that work this hard. Even in the past people didn?t work as hard or long as they do now except slaves and prisoners. What made people see slavery as progress or development? What is the reason people choose to live like this? Life is easy, why do we choose to make it so hard and complicated? What makes us think life has no choice when in fact we have a lot of choice?

i'll try my very best to forget all about you, i promise. this won't do me any good either.
I shouldn't love you but i want to
I just can't turn away
I shouldn't see you but i can't move
I can't look away
And i dont know how to be fine when i'm not
Cause i don't know how to make the feelings stop
Just so you know
This feelings takin control Of me and i can't help it
I wont sit around
I can't let her win now
Though you should know
I've tried my best to let go of you
But i don't want to
I just gotta say it all before you go
Just so you know
It's gettin hard to
Be around you
Theres so much i can't say
And do you want me to hide the feelings
And look away
And i dont know how to be fine when i'm not
Cause i don't know how to make the feelings stop
Just so you know
This feelings takin control
Of me and i can't help it
I wont sit around
I can't let him win now
Though you should know
I've tried my best to let go of you
But i don't want to
I just gotta say it all before you go
Just so you know
This emptyness is killin me
I'm wonderin why i've waited so long
Lookin back i realize it was always there to be spoken
Now i'm waitin here
Been waitin here
Just so you know
This feelings takin control
Of me and i can't help it
I wont sit around
I can't let him win now
Though you should know
I've tried my best to let go of you
But i don't want to
I just gotta say it all before you go
Just so you know

My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny.
-Elaine Maxwell
Got this from Glenda's blog. This is quite inspiring, hehes. yea, the exams are finally over. for me, i'm quite satisified with my results in the a maths and sci subjs papers. But my geog is suffering. I used to get such As in geography even though if i dun study. Similarly, i dun really study for my geog and my marks just sunk to a pathetic B4. I never used to get Bs for my geog. its my favourite subject. I guess i'm losing interest in it , i hardly listen to my teacher in class. even as i'm copying the notes, my mind just wanders. i'm seriously losing the passion i used to have in geography. man, how ironical can life be? When i was in sec 2, i used to love geog till the death. I craved so much and suffered so much just to get a place in the pure geog class. yet, i'm not cherishing this opportunity to learn geog. ain't i complacent?
I passed my english at the very least, but kinda disappointed y it. i just passed by 9 marks. in the 'o' level, i'll fail very badly. I guess i have to buck up on my English. its my favourite language. My Chinese is going to the shit too. I think i have to brush up on my letter writing and yucks, comprehension. I wan to cut down on the number of Bs at the moment, and converting them into As in the process.
another sad fact, i could have done a lot better in my e maths if not for the dumb careless mistakes. grrr. Mdm Ong said we need to get at least 85 marks for an A1 in my o level. I can get 85, but i forgot to do one stupid question which costs me 4 marks. i know how to do the question but i forgot to do! groans.
i'm okay with my history but a slight disappointment in my SS. I got the whole inference question wrong due to wrong interpretation. i can't comprehend the table. =((. it was my essay that pulled me up.
haiz. i have to buck up on my subj and hope to get at least 10 for all my subject, meaning i only can have an A2 and A1s for the rest of my subjects. i wan to get an a2 for my english =((.
